My feeling is that the Tiger is slowly and dangerously building, anyway an interesting article on Marine, Civil and Military balance of power.

My feeling is that N Korea, China and Russia will form a new world order soon with India as a willing strategic satellite.

USA will be forced to renege on their promise to Taiwan when China takes it back or face all out war.

My long dead dad didn’t give me much advice but 2 things I have always remembered !
Firstly, selling people something is about going back regularly even if the answer has always been No. One day you will turn up at the right time, they may have been let down and you will make that sale . And Don’t forget to ask for an order each time at the end of a visit or phone call.. Also over the years of being presented to, people just don’t ask for an order !! They just pitch …..and think the jobs done.

And the second and this was his view all his life, China will rule the world. All he based this on was their population and working, toiling.ejtc

I think your view Rich and having read the BBC article, I tend to agree with you. Modi operates both with the West and The East/Asia.
The West, the EU, NATO , call it whatever you want, really do not look like a cohesive group. They need to if our kids future is to be secure. America currently is a wobbly ally.

PS Europe surely should be supporting Ukraine to the level that makes a stalemate certain and a peacwith Ukraine making some territorial progress . Don’t get me started on Gaza as I hate making political comment . Like to stay with fun, Morgans and other motorised vehicles . Plus of course steam trains !

The Chinese play a long game and Trump is their best worker for that change.
If you go there as I did regularly for work the Chinese will tell you they plan to take over the world by stealth.
They already control most critical raws.

When I was working in SW Africa back in the early 1970's they were busy buying..

Fortunately for us, the more they try to have a stranglehold on rare minerals, the more inventive the rest of us become.........to develop new technologies using more common place materials more readily available to the west. Also they encourage us to seek out new deposits of those rarer minerals.
