I go for maintance to the dealer next month, and first time MOT is in January or later depending on the weather, I should have waited to do put the car on the road :-/

Morgan Belgium call me by phone. My car is one of the first to pass MOT. They never saw a plus four with émission problems. It is not possible to correct it with a laptop. They ask me to try again with super 98 iso 95 .And to switch the Windscreen heater and the heating on. Surely switching the heating on would make the engine run even cooler! The bad air filter position seems to be a common problem so I would not return for a test until it has been inspected and/or renewed. I suspect they meant heater fan and screen heat. This would load the alternator and hence engine, particularly at idle. Better still would be turning on aircon of course.
