Re 2013 Plus 4
Can anyone tell me if the windscreen washer pump is on its own fuse circuit . If so I would appreciate any assistance in locating said fuse .

On my 2011 4/4the washer & wipers are on the same fuse 8.

GKT, not sure why you are asking, but your +4 should be similar to my 4/4.
I had real trouble with my washer pump shorting to earth a couple of years ago.
The culprit was under the dash as the loom goes over the steering column.
You will have to expand the pic to see the damage.

I believe it's the same as the wipers fuse 8 on my 2013 +4

Correct Keith. So if wipers ok it's not the 10 amp fuse 8. If washers failed it could be clogged or blown motor. You could first check for +12 volts on light green/black cable to washer motor when wash selected on stalk.

I have a 2012 build Plus 4. My pump stopped on the way to the MoT! The wipers and washers are on the same fuse on mine.

I found an exact match for the replacement pump at Wilco car parts... less than a tenner.

Yep, I've had both those issues. The wire on the steering column, took me ages to find mainly because you don't use them much and you needed the heater on volcanic, that's when it softened the cable and allowed it to make contact.
The washer motor doesn't like sitting with screen wash which is old.... it looks fine in the bottle but down in the pump body it's growing things. Stupidly I used to make sure the concentration of the wash fluid was strengthened for over winter storage, I now drain it down and dry it out!

problem solved, thank you all for information provided.
Pump proved to be faulty and now replaced . The type fitted had no distinguishing part numbers however subsequent research found that F Bilstein Part no 03940 to fit VW /Audi is an exact match and fits the washer bottle to a tee.
