Great to hear lots of Supersports being built.

Although not many - if any - on talkmorgan buying, seems like others are putting their hands into their pockets 😊

I get your point though.
Seasons best MM
PS Hate the back and hard top but the pic looking upwards with the blue sky and with the driver one make it look β€˜desirable’ but I could not justify another fast tractor as I describe my plus 8 to friends. Think I might have to pay Jose Feliciano Light my Fire a few time on Saturday nights to stir some latent emotions to expend my dosh on a new or pre loved Morgan Plus Four .
Mike, we will be lucky to make the 20 I agree but it does make you think a bit more of the importance of getting the right car for you just as you thought through the Automatic Plus Four, I have heard nothing but praise for them once they cleared the radiator and brake issues.

Kind regards

Rich

The MY22 and earlier cars certainly have a longer brake pedal travel and mine (typical of all Morgans I've had to-date) felt dead and lack feel but did bite and stopped the car. They have replaced the brake fluid during the service and the brake feesl much better, still a long travel but less dead more progressive. The ECU firmware update (done whilst they are doing the service diagnostics) has certainly changed the warm up procedure, and the heater works much earlier than before, so it may well have cured the thermal shock that was part of the radiator problem.

John, it's now much better than the original setup.......but unlike my Mercedes brakes where the bite is right at the top of the travel, (so I notice the difference in the Morgan far more) the Morgan pedal travel is longer, I'll see how it progresses in the coming months. I've booked it in for another service at Morgan Malvern next October, so I'll get them to bleed them again (if necessary). The cars only got 1600 miles on it now, I've only done about 800 or so miles (most of them motorway miles) in the 4 weeks since getting it, need to get some miles under its belt, and get rid of some of that newness.

Got to be good news for Morgan, they need the money and the increasing in average sales prices must be helping their profitability per car (reduce their substantial losses). Without question some colours really bring out the Supersport's profile, and others kill it dead...it certainly needs the right colours to make it more pleasing on the eye.

I picked up mine Supersport yesterday and I'm very happy. I was allowed to make two visits to the factory, had the opportunity to (briefly) screw on my own car, and above all a very nice conversation with Matthew Hole and Jonathan Wells and my car. It was a very successful way from the first order at Flaving in Unna until the takeover.

Here are some pictures before the handover:

That is certainly a great colour combination and really makes the car. I'm sure you will enjoy it to the full.
