💡 Fun fact: in languages With gender, that says **nothing** about "male or female" in the real world — it's purely grammar.

I'm thinking about calling mine "Mr M"...

A little over thinking maybe but mine is definately male.

Taking a slightly whimsical and literary approach, maybe a Morgan is a 'they' - in the sense it embodies a little of all the souls of the people who assembled it. (Which sort of raises the question of can a Morgan be haunted ?)

For me, it depends on the car. Some are feminine but my Morgan is definitely male.

I do like the notion of a haunted Morgan and to continue down this road all I am doing in taking a pride in the machinery, is to respect those who put it all together in the first place.
One of many little tweeks (non-molesting) is to make a more sensitive steering wheel, The rim is steam bent and laminated Oak and the spokes are of whittled bamboo. The Mota-Lita hangs up gathering dust! See below:

Mine's definitely a she! ... as are all my cars and motorcycles .. no idea why, because 'cranky, and high-maintenance' doesn't describe any of the women in my life! 🙂


As we're talking gendered languages ... something I find interesting and somewhat arbitary as an English speaker ... can any of our Spanish-speaking members confirm that this is true and not just an amusing meme?

Both; Megan my slimline 4/4 is definitely a female Maurice my +8 is much more masculine and Olga the M3W, well she is named after my mother.

I think my Morgans rather don't want to talk about it.....!!

But the 4/4 is higher, less supple and slower, whereas the PlusFour is lower, wider at the rear and much faster......, so I think a mixed double......!

I thought they were all ASH E as suggested 🥷

We never name cars or gender them - Henrietta as named by Mr HS125 and will remain thus oor🥷🏽
