Latest update for the Alternative Parts List. Some additional information about fuel filler caps, exhaust flexi adaptors (found out from my own experience!) and some rear wheel and tyre information. Any information you have that may help other owners, please email it to me for inclusion in the next update.

You are correct Rodger......unobtainium! I have had a look as well. There may be the odd one in a packet on a shelf somewhere but not easily available. I was waiting for you to come up with an alternative for us 😁.

There are a number of reed valves available for other engines but I don't know of a direct replacement sadly. They are not that expensive generally and it may be a case of finding something close in the same gauge material and trimming it to size? Fortunately, at the moment, mine still works, so I am in the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" group. Not a big help but if you do come up with an alternative that works, please let me know.

It is simply a flat piece of thin spring steel. Mine seemed to improve when I flipped it over. S&S makes a very different reed valve (and $$$) for older harleys
