Meteorology for Masters and Mates, Charles H. Brown, Seventh Edn, 1933 Sent to me by a fellow photographer. He found it in a charity shop for £1 but couldn't get on with it so thought of me! That sounds interesting Graham. It is, Some things have changed a little, but the basic principles remain. Your aviation photo book looks to be worth keeping an eye out for.

The hidden history of Orford Ness by Paddy Heazell, one of a mixed batch of books we were gifted several years. Fascinating and in depth history of this essentially military test site in use before WW1 covering early radar through to testing nuclear bomb construction and tactics. Many of the people working there defined the term "boffin". Now owned by the National Trust, its piqued my interest to visit.

Richard as I said you should take the NT Ferry from Orford but also book the trailer tour because the site is huge.

John, his series of books about the roman empire are all very good, I call them "Faction" as there is a great deal of research and real knowledge in them.
I am deep into yet another James Patterson book, they are a good read I feel.
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg

I just finished reading Eyes Wide Open, by Andy Powell of Wishbone Ash. It's a great insight, not only to the history of the band, but also some of the inside of the music industry and life as a musician.

Now there's a blast from the past ... Wishbone Ash ... remember seeing them live in Birmingham Town Hall in '72 ... back when I had hair (and lots of it!) 🙂

I just finished reading Andy Weir's fantastic science fiction novel "Project Hail Mary". I liked it even more than "The Martian". I'm really looking forward to the movie adaptation, which I think will be released in March. ![[Linked Image]](https://cdn.webshopapp.com/shops/297859/files/418106926/project-hail-mary.jpg)
