@JohnHarris: In response to your question about how the car will be used: I'll simply drive it. It will come out of the garage whenever I feel like it – whether for shopping, appointments, or travel. But there will be days when I prefer a comfortable car. I'm not going to force myself into a rigid plan beforehand. And I hope that the intellectual drivel in the political absurdity of the world will allow me this freedom of choice for a long time to come.

However, usage also depends on the car and its quirks. Due to the weather, I've only driven about 500 km so far. I need to get used to the car, feel it, and listen to its sounds. Does a creaking noise mean a loose screw, or is it a built-in noise? Can I stop a draft, or is it always there due to the design? etc. The answer to these questions is how I plan to use it. In my daily life, I drive rather compliant and uncomfortable cars (Defender TD4 Softtop, Ineos, UniMOG). Based on my experience so far, the Supersport is the most comfortable option...

Greetings from the heart of Germany!

That is exactly how it should be used as and when it suits you. There are IMHO too many cosseted low mileage Morgans about that hardly see the light of day.a real shame. My Plus Four is my daily driver from choice, need to fix a few draughts, but come rain or shine its out there doing it;s job as a great means of conveyance, unfortunately the hood is always up as it's so wet here.but come the dryer months it will be hood down all the time.

Glad you are enjoying the car. The CX and CXV chassis are a real step change in the development of the Morgan sports car,.whilst still limited practicality, they are a very relaxed, enjoyable and can be very involving car to drive.......long may it be so. Best regards from a wet and stormy Lancashire.

The slush is still so deep here that the cassette compartment in the car would be used as a snow shovel. Besides, the roads are more salted than a good ham. In the evenings, wild boars stand by the roadside, licking the tar to replenish their mineral needs.

I'd rather spare my new car that.

Being right next to the sea, we rarely get snow locally, a few heavy frosts and sometimes a few weeks of salt gritting, in fairness when the salt is down the car stays in the garage until it rains again to wash it all away.

Just for info.
thegentlemensjournal.com award for innovation went to the Supersport.
I’m unsure why this somewhat upmarket website thinks I am in their demographic but they do. There are about 10 car categories to look at ……..very little narrative and detail for serious car aficionados but might be worth a look even if it gives you a laugh.

Hope you are all well and wish you the best for 2026.

According to ChatGPT it is Barcelona:

The city in the background is Barcelona.

You can tell by the Mediterranean coastline, the dense urban layout, and especially the distinctive spires of La Sagrada Família visible on the right side of the skyline.
