I'm negotiating with a Morgan dealer in Florida on a 2025 Plus Four. It does not have the usual factory installed pre-delivery luggage rack mounting hardware. Has anyone added that hardware after the car was built? If so, how difficult and how expensive? Any references to a shop experienced in the procedure? Thanks!

As long as you have the triangular brackets near the exhaust it is easy.

I have ringed the bracket in blue in this photo. If you don't have it I guess you have to cut the valance & weld it on both sides

This is my PlusFour in build, the brackets are mounted on those black "studs". I don't know if these studs are present without the luggage rack equipment? It is easy to check if you look underneath the car!

It seems that the US (or maybe it's just CA) don't let Morgan ship cars with racks fitted. Make sure you get a full price from your dealer that includes an out of the door price. I got a bit of sticker-shock when I picked up my Mog in February - the rack (after fitting) ended up costing around $2800.

You might want to give Williams Automobiles in the uk a ring - their friends at Librands make a nice rack and you could discuss it with them. You might want to consider the librands rack with a slot for the window panels, although if you have a spare wheel this “stacks” rather high and can block visibility.
