What parts do I need to add the factory luggage rack mounts to a 2025 plus four? Unfortunately, the car was delivered without them.

Clemens on here in the Black Forrest will have all the information on this and a warning about the factory supplied bracket that failed on him whilst on tour.
A reference to a further failure here from Robbie.

Thanks but my car is a 2025. No black blocks under it. I was told that the two mounting pieces come already on a long "piece" which means the spacing is predetermined. Any diagrams/ schematics I can check to see it before they order the parts? The dealer says it will be just like the factory installation if they had been mounted by the factory at the time of build and they will order everything from the factory.

Looking with interest for a possible future CX. I think the question was, can the luggage rack mounts be fitted retrospectively.

My advice would be to get one with them. Retrofitting is possible but costly

A reference to a further failure here from Robbie. I don't know how the mounting works on a 2025 model. The important thing is that it's not just the inner part that's welded. The T-piece needs to be welded all the way around. Just to endorse what Clemens said re the welding of the bracket - Both I and a friend who has a cxPlus four have had the brackets welded like Clemens - the way that they are supplied is that the back of the bracket just has a "Spot" weld on the tongue and it is not sufficient at all. --You have been warned!!!!!!
