I was going to ask whether that was the silver one Les, but I see it is actually "Ice Blue Metallic" with an auto box.
Enjoy the view / test drive. thumbs

I'm a bit surprised at the 200 miles between fill ups on the CX because when touring, even at motorway speeds you are getting 40 to 45 mpg often closer to 50 mpg so the tank can easily go to 300 miles, and by comparison after doing 300 miles in a trad. you need a little more than a petrol break to recoup.

All Morgans have problems, eg replacement radiators on trads. are not uncommon, electrical problems, corrosion, MOT emission testing issues, ECU, PCB it's a never ending list of problems, as detailed on the TM forum over the years. It's a common trait of Morgans for decades, often the by product of the lack of resources to fully develop and test, add in variable build and quality control., often exacerbated by the low mileages, infrequent usage and winter storage of many of the cars.

The CX and CXV platforms seem to be benefitting from increasing more dedicated engineering and development resources, and improving quality control in recent years...........I've toured in both trad and covered the miles in a CX and without question IMHO on today's congested roads and at my age and ailments, the CX automatic allows me to continue to drive a Morgan, long after I would have given up on a trad. I'm even considering in the fullness of time looking at getting a Supersport, whilst it has lost some of the Morgan design characteristic's,which is a shame, it has taken performance and handling onto a entirely new level and made a more capable everyday driving car.

But as they say each to their own.

Judging by the historic level of posting concerning radiator replacement on the CX in the (ahem) early years there must be a mountain around the back of the factory that can be seen from space?

Said the man with the Aero fetish and a large number of replacement batteries.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Morgan's of all shapes and sizes, are more maintenance intensive, seems to come with the territory, but a small price to pay (actually can feel quite large at the time), but I couldn't imagine life without one in the garage. They all bring a certain something different to your life that other brands cannot seem to match.

I've only found Harley Davidson can match that unique sense of ownership experience, and they are equally as flawed, hence I'm considering getting one of those shortly.

Perhaps we should describe it as being part of a "sub(missive)" culture. Enjoying pain. Oh, did I say that out loud whoops. (that was a joke before you lot pin me to the cross!). Wine may be involved. We really need a thread on wine. Too much wine?

If there was ever a safe place that has not gone AI inclusive, unfluencer driven and profit motived I just have to say thank you to Simon and all the humans on this board for being real. May god save the following generations who have not experienced the joy of working for a smile. A big smile.

You're a glutton for punishment John.

I've been driving a CX for four months, whereas I've been driving a Morgan for ten years drive
The CX is a whole different world! It's very high-performing, comfortable, and well-equipped. It's not perfect, but it would be hard for me to go back to a pre-CX thinking

This thread is ringing a few alarm bells for me in a gentle way as the Aero/Traditional divide is what prompted Simon to start this site up so tread steadily men, as you have been.

They are all Morgan warts and all in the most beautiful unique way.

You need to drive all sorts until one fits. or get a German.

You getting a Harley John well beyond hope, love it.
