Superb and your wheel cover is a prime example for MMC on how to properly engineer something, before you all start there is lots of money in these cars to do things properly and do it once.

In my opinion, it just looks so much better than the original fuel cap.

Very nice Job, Nestor, congratulations with the result I do like the Cobra style or LeMans style fuel filler caps. For me personally I thinks it's rather big. For that reason (and also for the reason that I cannot do these things myself, or I don't have the guts to try it), I choose for the sleeker LeMans style version of MMC (also known as the Pinnacle cap) as I mentioned earlier in this thread, with photographs. What added to my decision is that it also has a complete new inner work, so one can completely get rid of the original cap, which caused a lot of troubles for me. What is negative.....? It's price. But more than a year later, I'm over it...!!!

Here's the total cost of the operation :

1/ Fuel filler cap by Newton Equipment: €300
2/ Aluminum ring from Morgan Belgium: €200
3/ Ring grinding by my machinist, creating a 5mm chamfer: €50
4/ Two liters of sweat when I had to drill into the bodywork of my brand new car
