Back in the day when I had to wear a suit to work, I sometimes used to ride to work in it when the weather was hot. Caused a few second glances from people especially when I was on my FZR1000 EXUP. I could never get into the idea that one had to wear leathers all the time, I found it a great deal more comfortable just to slow down a bit and avoid crashing.

Yes but that was when you could mostly assume common sense on the road......

Had one of those days yesterday, finished with an hour afterschool meeting that could have been a four line email.
So to cheer myself up I got the angle grinder out last night. Waiting on the rear light to turn up before I can finish it.......

Well, I've just paid the deposit on this little bit of a special Harley Fatboy customised and supplied by Battistini new in 1995, includes a special Battistini paint job by Jerry at Hard Rock Paint, loaded up with Arlen Ness billet aluminium accessories including the 18 inch wheels, PM brakes and discs and Bub Custom exhausts with S&S carb.....sounds fantastic, runs well and only done 5.7k miles. Battistini were some of the best Harley custom machines in their day, whilst this one still retains it's Harley frame and standard 1340 engine, some of their designs are legendary and absolutely outlandish, stunningly low and futuristic. For some reason I thought you were old Mr Harris. Must have got that wrong as surely this is a bit of a heavy beast, although I do see very many older Harley riders at Euro Bike Week at Egg in Austria. Put it in your hall as a piece of art. Have a friend with a Ducati in his hall but sadly he lost use of his legs in a horrific bike crash just outside Goodwood . He is a lovely man, real inspiration however, working, giving motivational talks + TED .
Stay v safe if you ride it………
