2 grease nipples per side, one on top of each kingpin, you need to reach behind/over the top of the tyre and the other adjacent to lower shock absorber mounting

Just because nobody mentioned: Get a proper grease gun, I know it's a british car, but for the grease gun I rely on german workmanship. I have one of those by Mato. Together with an appropriate 500mm hose like this, greasing is easy. The hose snaps onto the grease nipple and no further pressure needs to be applied during greasing. My narrow 4/4 tires help, may be trickier with the wider ones of the +4 and Roadster.

My gun has a knurled screwed cover on the end. I am unsure what the function is. Should this be undone and then placed over the nipple and then tightened? I must admit that I never feel confident that my greasing is effective.

Having the benefit during the 5 greasing sessions I had to make on the Grade Tour I have to recommend the Remote Greasing Kit as supplied by the Nipple Shop (£60). Lift the bonnet each side and it is easy to access the nipples. That kit looks great! Found it on the site (link: remote greasing ), but there are two versions: NS9000MOG. For bearings with inlet thread: 1/4"unf, 1/4"bsf, & M6x1 NS9024MOG. For bearings with inlet thread: 1/8"bsp Anyone know which kit/inlet tread fits a 2011 plus4 sport?

Greasing completed (I think)! Got grease into both top nipples, black(ish) grease came out at the bottom just below the top spring. Got grease into both bottom nipples, same blackish grease came out at the same place below the top spring. The attatched photo shows the place where the black grease comes out (with the amount that came out before I stopped greasing).

Looks good. I usually go for a bit more to flush out the crap & now am a fan of Castrol CL grease which is thiner but seems to give a better handling feeling. I grease every 1000 m & also lubricate & check the damper blades GoMog might be of use. http://www.gomog.com/allmorgan9.html#Dynamics

What do you use on the damper blades? Bud __________ 2003 - 4/4
