A wet, wet day so no open top Mogging!

We drove up to Williams in the rain and returned through a monsoon.

Some photos of the transfer from Aldermog to Tarka this lunchtime.

Tarka? I thought she was to be George. No, I was out voted and thanks to a tongue in cheek suggestion from Adrian Tarka she is. Tarka? Yes, she is "'Otter" (Hotter) than Aldermog and the colour is perfect.

When the weather is better some more photos with the hood down and inside the very full engine bay.

Yes, a few subtle changes, but the thing is so close to perfection I don't have many ideas.... idea

The only two I've got planned are a pair of auxillary lights on the front, Supersport style and a covered trinket box to sit between the seats at the back of the cockpit.

That really is it! happy3

Oh no - looks like JTL is going to get a serious competitor for the polishing then if you're not going to be taking the seats out! surrender

one thing you may like to look at are Alloygators to protect those beautiful Alloy rims. Whilst the higher seating position in the +8 probably gives you a better view than an Aero it still bears consideration. I have a set to go onto the Coupe at some point. Not the purist solution but then again £600 an alloy does focus the mind. Almost as much as the bottom clenching sensation as you hear it happen.

Other products exist, i have no investment in them etc etc.

We are starting to see a little club here, demo dolls that escaped into the community. We should plan a reunion of all the ex factory cars next year and get a photo !

A really great looking car. Many congratulations and safe miles.

Could you tell us what "optional extras" are fitted to Tarka and your opinion of the worthiness of each.

Peter - Congrats I know you will enjoy it .....

As for mods did I hear you say you could think of many ! What surely not !

Have you thought about :

Stick on clock
Luggage solution ?
High level brake light
Armrest
Side Screen inner panel scuplting
Storm Cover
Additional 12v socket for sat nav
sat nav mount
windbreak
heated seats
pump up lumbar support
spray on 3m defend covering for the front
foot locker

That should keep you thinking for a bit !

Tarka came very well equiped and optioned, these would have been extra cost and came with the car....the score is my view of value for money!

Aeromax Wheels 19"........7/10, only because of the cost
2 Stage Heated Seats......10/10
Special Leather(Loom).....8/10,it sets off the special paint perfectly
Cream Stiching and Edges...7/10, the cream shows the dirt
Loom colour carpet edge....7/10, looks good but not cheap
Morgan Logo on Headrest....7/10, looks great but silly money
Sunvisors....................10/10, essential
Door Pockets.................10/10, essential
Map reading light............10/10, useful and cheap
Footwell Lighting..........10/10, useful and cheap
Side Screen Bag.............2/10, will probably never use it
Metallic paint... ...........10/10
Cream Wing Beding.........10/10
Paint Protection Film.......10/10

I must congratulate Mark Ledington for specifying a great looking car. I'd not have been brave enough to go for the colour combinations, but it really works.
