Lovely images and interesting location.. Your description of rural Italian roads takes me back to our time based in an agriturismo in Cortona, the old +8`s suspension well tested on occasion...(-:

At one of the annual Mog events a few years back, Charles had an Aero wrapped in Polizia look alike, unfortunately my photo lost on an old bust laptop

Ewan, there was Ferrari identical to yours parked up in Dartmouth on Sunday afternoon with 43 MEL registration - it didn't look so cool out of the mountains though

Fantastic thread and great pics Ewan but disappointed you didn’t include a picture of the pretty Italian woman in your 4/22 post (haha). Will follow with interest and keep the pics coming. Great trip with your son and your car looks great!

Yep, super cars look more like silly cars when you see them in urban UK, YouTube show them at their worst, naff or crass take your pick, Harry’s Garage has a touch of class though. No cool cop cars today, Modena only seems to have small Puntos and such like, certainly no Morgans police otherwise. The village I’m near is Albareto, Canossa in Reggio Emilia region, the only stranger I’ve seen is a cat who like to sit on the engine cover when I’m not looking! I did receive the most amazing greeting today, while driving through a town, a man walking stopped in his tracks and gave us a full and firm salute, they really do get excited to see the thing, more so here than at home. Here’s our road this morning, still only 1deg. ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2024/04/24/IMG_9677.jpeg) Today was Ferrari Maranello day, High tech paint process with the utmost regards to safety 😂 ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2024/04/24/IMG_9685.jpeg) Too many cars to post so only those with gold wheels qualify, and a green version of my model. ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2024/04/24/IMG_9711.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2024/04/24/IMG_9721.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2024/04/24/IMG_9726.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2024/04/24/IMG_9735.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2024/04/24/IMG_9738.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2024/04/24/IMG_9744.jpeg) Old town Modena ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2024/04/24/IMG_9771.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2024/04/24/IMG_9774.jpeg)

Thanks for that set of photos, what a day you have both had, I love the snow capped mountains in the distance on "the" road/track.. A salute indeed, my word you have arrived. Is it an expensive affair a visit around the factory and or do you have to be an owner of their car ? Enjoy tomorrow and keep posting, we all appreciate your time and effort

There are two Ferrari museums, we visited both, the one in the pictures is the Enzo Ferrari workshop which is s more specific to his achievements. Both are open to everyone and not overly expensive, the shop is though, think of a number, double it then add Ferrari tax. You can hire a fancy car for as little as €180 but that only gets you ten minutes, it’s always busy so you’d barely get round the block for that, for the miles we’ve done it’d be a million £s! I parked in the public car park at first but the attendant came running over and insisted I park right at the entrance, apparently not very many owners drive their cars to these places, I’ve yet to see any other and there are no UK cars to be seen either. The factory itself doesn’t do tours for the public but the dealer can arrange this, for me though, it was never going to be available at a date convenient for both of us. His first V12, his first Ferrari racing car and a “ guess the model” classic with an incredible rear window. ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2024/04/25/IMG_9752.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2024/04/25/IMG_9733.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2024/04/25/IMG_9707.jpeg) I did manage to blag a quick look in though, even at the factory they love to see them, you’d think they get fed up. ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2024/04/25/DSC07356.jpeg) Today is Alfa Romeo day and a visit to Milano, Alfa also has two venues so a busy day ahead.

Great pics again Ewan ... good to see they have retained a sense of 'specialness' for their cars in spite of familiarity .... do have to say that the green picks out the sculpural elements of the car's bodywork rather nicely.
Have Fun Matey
