Got the updated handbook and the touch-up kit.
The kit is a Chipex kit. All being well, I won't be able to tell you if it's any good...
The handbook explains one anomaly: the average full consumption was showing about 25/ gallon, whereas I reckoned it was about 31. Turns out the on-board computer works in US gallons
On another note, after 2 days steaming around a rally field, I felt the need for a bit of speed, so I took the mog out
. About 15 miles out, I turned on the headlights & they failed, along with the indicators
Probably a fuse. The dealer fitted a pair of spots for me. I wonder if they up-rated the fuse ( and if they fitted a relay, come to that). A quick check in the place where the handbook says the fuse diagram is fitted shows that it's not...
Oh well, I'll have something to do tomorrow...
