Isn't that like saying you feel sympathy for the burglar that just broke into your house after hitting him over the head. Well not me. He gets what he deserves in my book.
Political views in my experience tend to be a good moral indicator as to were a persons sympathies my lie.
Therefore politics and sympathy by their nature are intertwined.
