Ooooh, I feel your pain! Been there before. Kept S1 car for two years. Loved the looks, loved the way it drives, could not ignore the sympathetics waves, admiration, the people on this forum and so forth.
Grew to dislike its high unreliability, the slow response of the factory when parts were required, the casual (maybe complacent) attitude of the dealership.
When I became worried that the car was spending too much time being fixed, or that it would develop a new problem every other month, or that it would rattle like my old 2CV, I decided that this was not the right car for me and sold it.
Though I still love the drive, the way it looks, the people on this forum and so forth.
Some here predicted that I would regret selling it. So far, no regret.
It really requires to develop a very special love affair with Morgan to keep up with an Aero (both financially and psychologically). This sort of relationship did not work for me.

I was told to expect a few problems with Morgans. I wasn't expecting a laundry list.
First, it came with the left side door that couldn't be opened at all. Also, the left side window wouldn't lower. On the first service, Phil corrected this.
Sadly, on the way home, it decided to rain very heavily. But the wipers froze on the top setting, so I couldn't see very well. Phil had also forgotten to reconnect the window switch, so it was back to his.
He sorted those, but now we have two new problems.
Firstly, the plipper (remote locking) won't work. Secondly, the key, having locked and unlocked doors already, has decided to work no longer and is stuck permanently open.
Is this level of unreliability standard, or am I extra unlucky?
