DaveW will say there's nothing wrong with a dirty car so long as you clean it when you get home. Without delay.
I knew a bloke years ago, always immaculately turned out. His car was a shed. Never cleaned. Me? I normally hang around at home looking like I've done a full shift rolling in the dirt. But my cars are usually very clean. Including inside the wheels.
I would rather go out scruffy in an immaculate car than go out looking immaculate in a shed. Each to his own.
