I yielded a little and just popped outside to clean the windows in the Roadster and the ever tarnishing petrol cap. The rest of the car is still gloriously grubby

It is the damned petrol cap and self dissolving mirror brackets that let it down - cleaning could be down to an annual event otherwise
Mine gets the full underbody hose down with low pressure karcher after his salty experiences every time - that electrolytic action is an unwelcome visitor.Cars very much like
if you show them too much attention/affection they take you for granted and/or think you have been up to something in my experience - treat them mean and keep them keen and a little mucky.
p.s. If she reads this I'm a dead man or at minimum a very hungry man.
