Ok, so I still have the rattle. It's slightly better than before, but still there and gets worse as I drive. I also have a tooting noise which I think is coming from the leaf springs. It was always there when going over large bumps but now I have it on small bumps as well.
I have Vaselined everything in sight. My car is a moving blob of Vaseline on wheels but I still have the sound. Neil (Neilda) took my car for a spin on Saturday and thinks the noise is coming from the suspension (incidentally we also established that my engine makes the same odd noise as his at over 3500 revs).
I am going to take the car to my dealer to see what he thinks.
