My point was that if you adapt the Aero chassis as you mention it would be considered a new car I believe and attract new development/testing costs as to make it commercially unviable. (have I made that word up??) I also am led to understand that yes the Plus 8 is 'approved' due to the Aero underpinnings.

And lastly as to "it's not always about the cost" of course I understand, that's why the Plus 8 appeared smile

I agree an 'Aero 6' (or whatever) would appeal to many (inc 1560) but am not sure it would be such a saving in manufacture. I believe that's what was anticaipted with the Plus 8. Taxation is another issue!
