Well put and clearly explained.

Unfortunately this is the result of designing for aesthetics without the consultation of a specialist engineer for some of the important bits.

Given that the M3W was inspired by the Liberty Ace (which in turn was inspired by the vintage Morgan) I really can't understand why they did not follow the design of the front suspension and steering already developed and proven.
