Nice spec Erik, I've just received my chassis rail covers in the post from Morgan shop, very nice they are. I was a bit surprised by the 'raw' unfinished look so ordered some straight away. I think I will also need the protective plastic due to no tread rubbers - any suggestions folks as to where to get fitted?

Last ride in the M3W coming up...will report on the transition to 4 wheels in due course.

I have the 3.7 Roadster and the sump is much improved. The Roadster, probably in common with most Classics, does not like the square sleeping policeman type humps (the square ones in the middle of the lane) - travelling over these dead centre and they will scrape the underside but not damage the sump. Best to take them at an angle with the wheels on one side going over the hump.

The chassis rail covers are very nice and I was pleased I ordered these. The fit is very tight on them (or it is on mine) so if you remove them at any point to clean them you have to be careful not to score the leather on either side with the sharp edges. My rail covers have become very scuffed - but they still look a lot better than the bare rails.

As to the protection film for the treads these are the people Morgan use -

Any Morgan dealer can get them or another specialist to come out and fit the film. I think its essential for the wings even when you have tread rubbers.
