The beast is finally in my garage after a fantastic 500 mile drive home through the Colorado Rockies and norther New Mexico. What a great car!
Anyway, my car was ordered with the immobilizer, and I noticed after I got home that the LED doesn't ever do anything. This got me to thinking I should test the system. Sure enough, the car starts right up when the security tag is nowhere near the car. Any ideas?
From your description it sounds like either a mis-connection, or even (perish the thought) that it was missed off at build.
Definitely one for your dealer to sort out, I would suggest.
I envy you your drive through Colorado. My son spent time at CU Boulder, so I was lucky enough to spend some time there. . .loved it.
