Noted on Ardnamurchan Biffo. We're based at Ft. Augustus. So it will be a pleasant day's drive - ferry out, B-road / Road to the Isles return. As an ex-mariner with an interest in lighthouses it's something I have to do once. Can't see
wanting to go if the two of us head up there for a holiday.
Shame about the demise of the Motorrail Dave. I could happily run that and save our overnight on way up and another on way back... Years ago the drive would have been part of the challenge, but miles of motorway just isn't as appealing nowadays!
