Just back from 10 days in the Outer Hebrides ( non Mog regretably), we had a fantastic time and what weather, we struck lucky big time, it is truly a magnificent place especially if you get the sunshine. Uig sands in West Lewis is a match for anything the Caribbean can offer and as for the views on Harris and North Uist - just spectactular. Thanks to Jay for advice. Regarding the Calmac ramps, I was in an Audi TT and had no issues but I have to say I would have been concerned at a couple of the ramps if I had the Mog. Specifically Barra to South Uist and North Usit to Harris - suppose it is tide related but one of those (can't remember which one) was almost at a V shape, both SWMBO and myself said ouch certainly not Mog friendly. Maybe worth a call to Callmac ina dvance, they must have a solution I guess. Ramps aside, driving a Mog in the Hebrides would be bliss, superb Mog driving roads.
