I'm about to plane the 'R1NGA cooling upgrade'
for my car as it looks much better than the factory one....Can you tell me if it works efficiently in Traffic, have you tested it with success?

All I can say at present is that when sat in traffic I now put the fan on and I have yet to hit Skipfire Mode again. True this is not a truly accurate test, but there was one occasion where the temps would have risen to the point where Skipfire might typically have kicked in previously, but it didn't.
I accept that DIY is going to be less effective than the factory offering, but mine looks better IMHO and a safety net is all I was after. And when I stand in front of the car when the fan is running the blast of hot air on my legs proves that heat is being dissipated quite well, and there seems to be lots of it!
