Anyone who believes that a 40 year old putting 3T a year into a private pension plan is going to receive enough to live on is living in cloud cuckoo land. Kind of reinforces my view of think tanks. Presumably they have all lived under the protection of government salaries and pensions and never actually looked at the size of pot necessary for private arrangements.
