It does seem the metal/plastic radiators used by MMC were not of robust enough quality.
When they go it seems plastic fails and all the water dumps....
Not good enough, a rad should last 15-20 years, but there isn't a lot we can do.
Are the new MMC rads better? Who knows?
But if I had to replace a rad I suspect I'd replace it with a MulFab item....
