I have not looked at the radiator in detail on my Roadster but presume it is the same. I think if mine goes I will take the radiator out and pop down to my local radiator repairer he took my Plus8 rad apart and put a new core in, better than original for 40% the cost of a Mulfab one. So I am sure he should be able to replace the plastic fitting by braising on a a suitable brass one on instead and hopefully would never fail again. I suspect if not hard to do no more than £50-100.
