The garadge contacted the Norwegian main dealer and they sent up parts bit by bit. First came a hub for 300GBP and then came a stub axle for 900 GBP. Thatjust seems an extraordinary price, anyone else had a similar price for a stub axle

Although these do seem to be the right parts according to the morgan catelog they have to be sent off to the university for machine tooling at 200 GBP per hour as there not quite right and the king pin cant be fitted as holes are missing.

The actually work will be a few hundred pounds, im almost crying at the expense its looking like almost 2000GBP for the entire fix. Im wondering if i would have a similar bill in england or if it would be much cheaper. At some point im guessing it would be cheaper to just ship the car to a garadge in england and have them fix it. The prices here just seem absurd.





No way would I pay that money or even half of it. Given the volumes that Morgan sell, its highly unlikely that these items are proprietary. Maybe I am wrong but mu suspicion would be that they are pattern spares for a volume car and available far cheaper outside the Morgan dealer network.

Have you had a look at the old items? Have you tried inputting the stamped on part numbers into Google?
