Has to be said that continual slow development of the trad could probably have been funded from company resources and profits. Unfortunately there has been little development apart from necessary engine changes in the last decade or more.

In order to fund the Aero Charles had a rush of enthusiasm and sold the "farm". The sales of Aero based cars are unlikely to ever buy it back, and now they have to pay rent for what was once their own property.

The Aero is a wonderful achievement but I doubt it could be considered a financial success.
