talking about paint dissolving...I just removed the black paint from the original Aircleaner, that holds like Hell! I let it soak into acetone for 24 hours and scratched it of while it was soaked, took me 2 hours to have it removed. I have polished it to make it look more vintage like. I will post some pictures soon...nice look
