Because although it goes against the blinkered views of some in the UK, Europe is a good place to live - free, prosperous and relatively democratic - unlike many other areas of the world, and I am proud to be European.
Having a badge on the car has nothing to do with where the car is made, just an expression of a wider form of patriotism.
