Sorry, 4a only applies to earlier than 2014 cars then. I wouldn't worry, the floor panels on your 2014 car look a little different to my 2013 car with NVH kit retro fitted. The panels look shorter on yours, maybe the centre one is deleted for more cooling airflow to the bevel box? Unlike a Lotus I cannot see it making much difference to the "downforce and aero package" of the M3W.
Good to hear. Now if I can only figure out how to do everything else listed on the 1000 mile checklist.
Also, I found a photo in an old post by asbojohn and can see how the underside has changed since the model pictured below. The panels are definitely shorter in the 2014 model as you mentioned.
