Steve - congratulations and nice story - the same thing happened to us at Williams - strangely with a +4 in pretty much the same colours/spec as yours!
We decided it was one of those 'it was meant to be/the car has found you' scenarios - which seem to be influenced by certain spaniels. Never believed in it before, but now ....
