Update - I had the hose tightened and gearbox oil topped up but it started leaking again on our last drive, which was fortunately to the Morgan factory!
Apparently this is a common problem - the metal the hose sits over corrodes (inside the hose) and the part (not confident which part) needs replacement at around £500. Sounds like a weakness Morgan or we should address as nothing like this should fail in such a short time.
