Yes ours had to be adjusted before we even left the factory. Worth mentioning that the hood to windscreen clips should be pulled down (they may need adjusting too) before the rear frame is firmly pushed down with two hands to lock it in place. This means that you don't put too much force on what is a relatively fragile component.

The side tenax fasteners must always be the first thing released and the last to fasten.

If you have sun visors you may need to take them off and carefully grind away and file the tabs to be close to the screws. They are too long and can foul the movement of the front hood clips.
