I dont think anyone should feel bad about having a moan on this forum.
Most of what has been said is fully justified. Most of the problems have been the result of poor engineering and sub contractor management.
Morgan have fitted items to the 3 W which are known to fail on the doner vehicles and feature prominently on other forums. Fuel pump from X5, compensator from Harley Davidson, mark 2 compensator from screamin eagle and a voltage regulator described as crap by everyone.
However Morgan played fair with me when my 3W was under warrantly and I hope they will continue to develop and learn from what has been I am sure a very costly few years.
I am still waiting to hear if they will meet me half way on a failed fuel pump!
If it could go wrong it has on my 3W but for all its faults its still the best car/ bike I have ever driven and i hope I can afford to stick with the old girl.
If you are stinking rich or even moderately so, the Morgan experience can always be a positive one: I think Morgan have relied on this to be honest. However many of the three wheeler brigade have put very hard earned, begged and borrowed but not stolen cash into their purchase and do deserve better I think.
Morgan need to change and start making craftsman built not just handbuilt cars.
