So I'll start with '& I absolutely love the car' it's beauty, it's style and feel and what it delivers is truly amazing. Everyone feels part of and is involved with your drive when you're on the road and adds to the most positive experience anyone can have with a vechicle, simply by their 'jaw dropping smiling' facial expressions
I originally looked at a JZR fitted with an FX Harley engine and absolutely wanted one there & then with its simply stunning looks. Following that spoke to Pete Larson (Liberty Motors Seattle) back in 2009 about the possibility of bringing an ace cycle car across the pond but simply too expensive to consider. Went back on line to the Liberty site in 2011 only to see 'licensed by Morgan' on their page, so re-looked at Morgan releasing the 2011/12 M3W 'hooked' had to get one!
Mine was Ledgerwoods demonstrator then resold by oakmere advertised on eBay I hovered on the mouse but didn't click- it sold! then 3 months later reappeared but a couple of thousand pounds cheaper due to 'the wife doesnt like it. 'Happy days', a black n chrome n orange 3500 miler complete with brooklands wheel.
Since then I've covered 7500 miles have had two broken exhausts on separate occasions a broken throttle cable resulting in a 7 hour roadside wait and flatbed recovery and now a double cracked broken chassis, discovered by my mate Matty at Brooklands Morgan day, so currently awaiting recovery back to the M3W shed at Morgan Motor Company.
The Factory to date have been absolutely fantastic & conversations have been thoroughly constructive and sought to resolve the issues of an early 2012 car.
I'm looking fwd to a position where the car comes back with a new 2011/14 hybrid chassis (2011 rear end/2014 front end) and Centa compensator. I will also get any corrosion sorted and and have new nuts, bolts & washers fitted during the refit so the backend will look the part again.
Would I buy again - Of course I would
