mine did not smell at all.
Then i parked it in an airtight 20ft container for a few days.
the smell of petrol was overpowering wheni opened up the container.
only smells when i park it in the container. in a normal garage it doesnt smell at all.
So to paraphrase the late great Tommy Cooper - don't park it in a container!
