I don't understand the DVLA's attitude.
If this is a money making exercise why don't they show a little more imagination? In many US States you can freely select letters and numbers up to the 6 digits required. Here it would be 7. So MORGAN 1 to 9 would be available...
Also, DVLA "Censor" combinations they feel might offend, to a level that remind me of the 1950s. So SEX, GOD and a number of less obvious words are forbidden, as are some numbers. Try buying anything with 666 and 999 on it, even though they used to be available.
To show their lack of humour they have tried to cancel some previously sold, including PEN 15. According to on report the owner fought this through the courts, I don't know what happened.
MY son in law, DAMIAN has a 666 plate.
