A while ago I was watching one of the Police reality programmes when they pulled over a car in Essex where the number plate violated all but one of the regulations (including having a Playboy logo). The dizzy blond driver didn't have a clue! The copper advised her to go to Halfords to get legal ones made up. As he set her on her way she asked "Where did you say I can get new plates ..... Harrods?" DOH!!
