I just googled it out of interest....I wasn't actually looking for the plate to buy at the time. I assume that the plate must have passed from the original car to another....as "Fanny" as we called her would probably have been scrapped at some stage as Morris Oxfords weren't the most collect able of cars!
The one I'm after was on a Morris 10, which was scrapped around 1960. I guess nobody retained the plate.
