I thought a couple of photos would make it all clear.

First, from the off side.



The clearance is quite good, the little castor wheel in the background is 8" i diameter..

And then from the front, showing the lip and that the sump is lower



So, exposed? Yes, but a lot safer than the Roadster. Even so care is needed.
