The extra zero is not a typo and as for "the VERY good reason" see the message below from Easyjet:
///"I am very sorry for the inconvenience that has been caused following the delay of your flight to London Luton on the 25th of June. Having reviewed the details of your flight EZY2410, I can confirm that the reason for the delay was due to operational decision. This event would be classified as non-extraordinary under EC Regulation 261/2004. In this situation you will be entitled to a compensation of 400 Euros per passenger.///

For those of you that would feel uncomfortable just be aware that for delays under 3 hours you have no claim. We do the Malaga/Luton trip about 10 times a year. In 80% of the trips the flights are delayed- albeit between 40 mins and 3 hours. I had no idea what compensation would be awarded and it appears to be regardless of ticket price. Maybe it was due to the fact the schedule time for take of was 23.40 and we left at 03.50 in an airport with No catering at that time of night and Easyjet also failed in their statuary obligation to provide some form of refreshment and the information flow to the passengers was virtually zero. Just a change to the departure message board. It was a very fraught night for 100+ passengers.
