Just had an update from easyjet confirming that having validated the card I used to purchase the ticket from which they extracted the ticket price in about 2 secs.
They will pay my compensation to the same card in between 15 and 20 "working" days. ie 3 to 4 weeks. It is amazing how these big companies have the high speed electronic processes in place to take money in but steam driven process to pay money out! Still we will see?
Paid in 3 days. Case closed!
