Clearly you didn't buy UK made cars from BL, GM or Roots in the 1960s...!!
I got Rover and Triumph in the 70s. They were unreliable, but my M3W has many more bugs per mile than those British Leyland productions (while I did not expect that to be possible)
I'm sorry to say I have to agree with The Austrian , I had numerous cheap old cars from the 60s and 70s , none have come anywhere near the M3W in terms of unreliability . It is undoubtably the most unreliable ( but most fun ! ) car I have ever owned .
It is also by far the most expensive car I have bought and it has the highest running costs ....
